Stop leaks before you hit send.

ClicGuard catches API keys, passwords, bank details and client names before they reach ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. It masks them, and puts your real data back in the answer, on your screen only.

The problem

One paste is all it takes

You paste a log, a contract or a client email into an AI chat to save five minutes. Inside: an API key, an IBAN, a client's name. Once it's sent, you can't take it back.

How it works

How ClicGuard works

1. You paste or press Enter. ClicGuard checks your message right there, in your browser.

2. It stops what shouldn't leave. API keys and passwords are blocked. Bank details, emails and client names get a warning and a one-click Mask.

3. The AI sees [CLIENT_1]. You see "Dupont SARL". When the answer comes back, your real data reappears on your screen, highlighted. The AI never had it.

The signature feature

Masked on the way out. Real on the way back.

Other tools hide your data and leave you with an answer full of placeholders. ClicGuard swaps them back for you, so you can actually work with client data in AI chats without handing it over.

What it catches

What ClicGuard catches

  • API keys and secrets: OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, GitHub, Google, Stripe, Slack, private keys, tokens, and passwords in config files
  • Bank details: IBANs (checked with the official checksum) and card numbers (checked with the Luhn test), so fewer false alarms
  • Contact details: emails and phone numbers
  • Your clients: paste your list of client, project or people names once, and ClicGuard spots them everywhere

Where it works

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Copilot
  • Perplexity
  • Mistral

Private by design

It never reads over your shoulder

  • Everything runs in your browser. The text of your messages is never sent anywhere: not to us, not to anyone.
  • ClicGuard only works on the AI chat sites listed above. It has no access to your other tabs, your browsing history or your clipboard.
  • The log keeps what kind of item was caught and when, never the item itself.
  • Your client list stays on your computer.

FAQ

Questions

Does ClicGuard send my messages anywhere?

No. Your messages are checked inside your browser and never leave it. The only thing our server knows is your email and whether you're on a trial, the free version or Pro.

What does the AI see when I click Mask?

Placeholders like [CLIENT_1], [EMAIL_1] or [SECRET_1]. When the answer comes back, ClicGuard replaces them with the real values on your screen only. API keys, passwords and card numbers are never shown back: there's no reason to.

Will it slow down my chats?

No. A message is checked in a few milliseconds.

Can it miss something, or flag something by mistake?

Yes, sometimes. ClicGuard uses rules, not mind-reading. Bank details are double-checked with their official checksums to keep false alarms low, but please don't treat it as a guarantee. It's a seatbelt, not a driver.

Does it check files I attach?

Not yet. ClicGuard checks what you paste or type. Attachments, voice input and images are not checked.

What happens after the free trial?

You choose: $4.99/month, $39 once, or keep the free version (warnings on ChatGPT and Claude).

What's the lifetime license?

One payment of $39, every Pro feature and every update, for as long as we offer ClicGuard. No subscription.

Which browsers?

Google Chrome on a computer. Other browsers may come later.

When does it launch?

Very soon on the Chrome Web Store. This page will show the install button on launch day.
